In Bigg Boss Telugu OTT show, emotions were high especially where Sravanthi Chokkarapu and Ashu Reddy had an emotional talk on the Bigg Boss Telugu OTT Day 8. Fed up of being homesick she cried tears explaining how much she missed her father. They both fell silent Ashu redy one of them comforted the other and being a good friend and caring soul she stayed with her. Sravanthi came out with the fact that she was in the game to win so that her mother would be proud of her which brought an emotional aspect in her show.

Ashu Reddy’s Emotional Burden

In a surprising twist they disclosed that Ashu Reddy’s mother was barely visible during the time she was sent off to the Bigg Boss house. This absence was closely felt by Ashu and this made her experience in the house very eventful emotionally.

Contendership Winner Announcement:

Another shocking piece of news pertains to Ashu Reddy who has got herself an Immunity.

Then, at the onset of the weekend, the entire housemates were assembled at the living room by the host, Nagarjuna for a very important announcement. This was the time that the contendor of the contendership would be announced, the which would make him/her immune from nomination for the next three weeks – an asset in the game.

Thereafter after some discussions with the housemates Nagarjuna declared Ashu Reddy as the winner of contendership war. The pulsating entertainment event was Bull Riding during which Ashu Reddy competed with Ariyana Glory. Thus, with the fabulous performance of Ashu Reddy who had a lead of twelve seconds from Ariyana, won the race.

The Bull Riding Battle

Bull Riding was in fact a three rounds challenge. Ashu Reddy defeated her rival in the first and second rounds and Ariyana Glory bagged the third rounds. However, to establish the winner the total time a contender spends on a bull was considered and Ashu Reddy ‘s total of twelve seconds was enough to give him the edge over his rival.

Badge Game: Mastheads Sarayu and Anchor Shiva Gets Ready for The Spotlight

Apart from announcing contendership, Nagarjuna also brought up an engaging badge game. Housemates get to give two special badges in the game of the season; the “Safe Player” badge and the “Game Changer” badge which the housemate has to explain why he/ she is giving such a badge to the other housemate.

The game showed also relations among the participants, inside the house. Sarayu got many “Game Changer” tags, the most in the house, which proved her impact in the house. On the other hand, Anchor Shiva got most of the ‘Safe Player’ medals for which his fellow contestants trusted him.

Punishment for Anchor Shiva

A twist was given when Nagarjuna punished Anchor Shiva for getting maximum of ‘Safe Player’ tag. His punishment was to wash all the dishes in that kitchen for One week without assistance from the other occupants of the Bigg Boss Telugu OTT Day 8 house. Nevertheless, the job was not an easy one but the Anchor Shiva took it with humility, we saw sportsmanship in him.

As we know that day-8 Bigg Boss Telugu OTT hosted by Promod has not just full of emotions such as love, respect, happiness, etc. , but there are always hidden aspects which the viewers couldn’t find or didn’t notice. Another missed moment was when Sarayu tabooed the contender’s call and spoke to Baba Bhaskar in private of the decision that was made. Sarayu and Baba Bhaskar were talking tactfully about their plans for the game while Ashu Reddy won the fight in Bul Riding Battle. Sarayu felt insecure due to the increasing bonding of Ashu Reddy and Ariyana Glory which make her feel that her standing in the house is affected. The crafty Baba Bhaskar quickly comforted her and went on to explain which he believed would allow them survive in the following weeks.

In another unnoticed scene, the char pirai as expected to wash the dishes as a punishment got some sort of backing from Hamida. At last, day was reserved for Hamida who remained silence during the entire episode, seeking permission Bigg Boss to help Shiva in kitchen secretly by washing some utensils, despite, the latter was against Bigg Boss rule which show that, behind the drama and confrontation, there is still a humane side of houses.

Furthermore, others such as immunity bestowed to Ashu Reddy had similar effects. Her immunity managed to bring pettiness back into the house especially with Ariyana Glory who felt that she was made vulnerable by her narrow loss in the Bull Riding challenge. Ariyana was seen encouraging her sister but in turns she was overheard complaining to Sravanthi Chokkarapu about Ashu Reddy taking over game show completely. This conversation exposed a small chink in that relationship that will become increasingly apparent in subsequent scenes.

Day 8 created the basis of the transitive relations where compassion such as between Sravanthi and Ashu might not withstand the escalating rivalry of what the show presents. As passions rose higher, the ground was prepared for far more bitter clashes and people passionately watched this show of reality on the stage.
